Mixed Cart Orders – Yay βœ… or Nay ❌?

With PreOrder Now, customers can check out with both preorder and in-stock items, but how do you handle shipping? πŸ“¦ Ship separately – In-stock items ship right away, preorder items later. Message: "Some items in your order are available now, while others are on preorder. We’ll ship the available items first and the rest as soon as they’re ready." βœ”οΈ Pros: Faster shipping, clear expectations ⚠️ Cons: May incur additional shipping fees, complex fulfillment πŸ“¦ Ship together – Wait until all items are ready and ship together. Message: "Your order includes a preorder item, so we’ll ship everything together once all items are ready to go. This helps us reduce packaging waste and save you an extra shipping fee. Thank you for your patience!" βœ”οΈ Pros: One shipment, simpler logistics ⚠️ Cons: Longer wait, needs clear communication πŸ’¬ How do you handle mixed carts? Show β€œSkip” button instead of β€œNext” on non-required steps

Hi, I’d like to request a feature that lets the step button say β€œSkip” instead of β€œNext” when the step isn’t required. Right now, every step shows β€œNext,” even if it’s optional, and that can be confusing for customers; they might think they have to pick something when they don’t. It would be much clearer if the button changed to β€œSkip” on optional steps, so shoppers know they can move on without selecting anything. The function already allows skipping, but it’s not obvious unless we explain it in the description or use custom code. It’d be great if this could either happen automatically or if there was a setting where we could set separate labels for required and non-required steps.
