How do you handle walk-ins with evey?

Hey everyone! I’m hosting a small indoor market and a lot of locals have been asking if they can just show up and pay at the door.

We’re using evey for tickets, but not sure what the best setup is for walk-ins. Do you manually check them in? Create a last-minute door ticket? I want to make sure to avoid a mess at entry.

    We used to have signs with QR codes direct to our ticket product page near entrance, and shopify pos at entrance for anyone who missed. Now we only have the QR codes to not slow down check ins who already have tickets

    There doesn’t seem to be a fix through the Check-In app itself, but we typically will use our Shopify POS for the guest to purchase tickets on-site. Once the purchase is complete, they can be checked in on Evey.

    You can add them manually from the backend

    If you want to still use Evey to check them in, then set up a separate ticket type just for walk-ins. You can keep it hidden from your main event page and only share it at the door (via QR code or link). That way, they still go through checkout and you capture their info.
