No charge for free tickets

Evey Events & Tickets💡 Feature Request

I want to have an option to turn off the ticketing for free events. Some of my events are free to the public and don't need tickets. It doesn't make sense to be charged a processing fee for free tickets. To avoid the charge, I'm not going to manually put 150 people's information and send the ticket, and I don't know if someone wants to buy the ticket.

    You're absolutely right: for free, public events where ticketing isn’t needed, having to process tickets (and fees) can feel unnecessary. No worries, this has been added to our product feedback. Disabling ticketing for specific events is a feature we're actively exploring, and your input helps us prioritize it.

    In the meantime, I wanted to share a helpful workaround: you can create your event in Evey but use a custom product template to hide the “Add to Cart” and “Buy Now” buttons. This allows you to display the event on your calendar or event list, without requiring attendees to claim tickets or triggering any fees. It's a great option for promoting free events without the extra steps.
