ZenBox: Bundle Builder💡 Feature Request

Hi Support Team,

I’m setting up a B2B store on Shopify Basic and need guidance on configuring product, bundle, and checkout pricing. Here’s what I want to achieve:

  1. Net price display in the store:

    • B2B customers should see net prices only.

    • VAT should be applied only at checkout.

  2. Deposit (Pfand) per bottle:

    • Each beverage bottle has a separate deposit.

    • The deposit should not be included in the product or bundle price.

    • It should appear as a separate line item at checkout and on the invoice.

  3. Shipping per bundle:

    • Each bundle (e.g., 24-pack) has a fixed shipping cost, applied only at checkout and separate from the product price.

  4. Invoice / Order Printer Pro compatibility:

    • VAT, deposit, and shipping should appear as separate fields on invoices.

I’d like to know if this setup is possible on Shopify Basic, and what the recommended configuration would be to achieve these requirements.

    Thank you for reaching out and for outlining your requirements so clearly. I understand how important it is to have your B2B store set up correctly for pricing, deposits, and invoicing. Here’s a breakdown of how each point can be managed:

    1. Net Price Display and VAT

    • Taxes are managed directly within Shopify, not through the Bundle Builder app. You can configure your VAT and tax display settings in your Shopify admin. Here’s Shopify’s official guide for reference: Shopify Taxes Help Center

    2. Deposit (Pfand) per Bottle

    • At the moment, the Bundle Builder app doesn’t support adding separate deposit fees per item. You may want to explore a third-party app that allows additional charges or deposits to be applied at checkout.

    3. Shipping per Bundle

    • You can specify shipping costs through your Shopify admin’s Shipping settings. Please note that when a customer builds a box using Bundle Builder, the app creates new product variants, and Shopify automatically assigns these to the default shipping profile. To ensure the correct rates apply, your desired shipping costs must be configured in the default profile.

    4. Invoice / Order Printer Pro Compatibility

    • Invoice formatting and field visibility (VAT, deposit, shipping, etc.) are managed outside of our app, so these settings would need to be adjusted directly within your invoicing tool.
