Feature Request: Vendor-Based Event Access Permissions

Hi Evey Team,

I’m writing to suggest a feature that would greatly improve vendor management within the Evey dashboard.

Currently, when creating events in Evey, we can assign a vendor tag to each event. This is very helpful for organising events by vendor or franchisee. However, when granting access to the Vendor Dashboard, the permission options are quite limited: we can either grant a vendor access to all events, or we must manually grant access to each individual event.

For businesses like ours that work with multiple franchisees, this creates a challenge. Granting access to all events is not suitable because franchisees should only see their own bookings and related data. On the other hand, manually assigning access to every event becomes very time-consuming as the number of events grows.

It would be incredibly helpful if dashboard access could be automatically restricted based on the vendor tag assigned to each event.

For example:

  • Vendor A logs into the dashboard and can only see events tagged with “Vendor A”

  • Vendor B only sees events tagged with “Vendor B”

Since the vendor tag already exists within the event setup, it seems like a natural and scalable way to control permissions.

For businesses operating franchise models or working with multiple independent vendors, this kind of vendor-scoped access control would make Evey significantly more efficient and secure.

Thank you for considering this suggestion. I’d love to hear if something like this is already planned, or if it could be added to the roadmap.

Best regards,

Ben Sackett
